At The Bottom Of The Bin

We keep the bird food in a couple of bins- with lids- in the cupboard by the front door. The cat was showing a interest in the cupboard this morning and Ailz said she could hear noises, so I hauled everything out- and at the bottom of one of the bins- on a bed of broken-up fat balls- was a mouse.

I took the bin out into the garden and released her into a flowerbed when the cat wasn't looking.

What was that dream?

Oh yes. I was a magician. I was going to make Stephen Fry (no less!) disappear from behind a screen in the middle of an open field. Stephen was a little nervous about it (bless him!) but I wasn't.

And then I found I'd forgotten how the trick was supposed to work...
