Another Culinary Misadventure

I was advised it was possible to freeze double cream. Well it is, but what you get when you defrost it is a thick, tasteless substance with the texture of damp sawdust. Not recommended.

I'd been putting it off for for weeks for fear of looking silly but today I successfully cleaned out our front gutter from inside the house using a craftily bent clothes hanger.
