Alice took a call yesterday from the Oldham Advertizer. They'd heard about her book (now on sale at Amazon) and the eager cub reporter wanted to talk to her about her life growing up in Oldham- and in particular about her rascally, old dad.

She didn't give him my phone number, but I have his. I'm not going to call it. This is Alice's gig not mine- and I'm no longer in business as a mad-eyed deflowerer of virgins and trampler on crucifixes; that's a story of long ago and far away.
