Dec. 2nd, 2008 11:12 amJust back from an exhilarating tramp through the freshly fallen snow. We both had doctor's appointments this morning, but Ailz didn't feel up to turning out in this weather, so I walked it.
I've been taking an anti-inflammatory called arthrotec for several years. The doc wants me off it. Bad for the kidneys, apparently- and not necessarily effective as pain relief either. I said I'd see if I could manage without.
He wanted me to take a blood test. I got the slot that Ailz had vacated. You know what? I think I've conquered my fear of needles.
