Council flats? You know, one thing I don't see much of in this country anymore is forests of television aerials.

They might have been- the council estate is just round the corner- but this is actually a terrace of privately owned houses.

I wonder how many of these aerials are still in use.

It's the "cockney" accent. No, Van Dyke himself is OK- I just wish they'd found a genuine cockney entertainer (Lord knows there are enough of them about)to play that role.
