Hay Bales On Romney Marsh

poliphiloThe hay has been cut and baled on Romney Marsh and the end of summer is in sight.
The camera I've been using for the past decade finally died on me today. I think it may have shipped some sea water on Tuesday when I was standing on a breakwater snapping the kids as they played in the surf. This is the last but one picture that I took with it. The very last was a less striking angle on the same subject.
It's replacement is scheduled to arrive tomorrow. I feel a little naked leaving the house without a camera at my hip.

They've started lifting the taters too so there are tractors back and forth through town.
