The Barque of St Peter

Here's the west window of St Peter's Halscombe, showing Christ and his apostles on a ship that's ploughing away from us through stormy waters. The iconography of the Church as a ship is traditional, but I don't think I've ever seen it presented in quite this way before. It's a striking image, vigorously realised (though I'm not convinced by the winged figures at the bottom who are probably meant to be calming the waves but look as if they're being sick.
