Eleven And Counting

Defections from the opposition are one thing, defections from the governing party are something else.

If I'm counting right it's now a gang of eleven.  The new independents must be close to holding the balance of power. 

This is getting very interesting.

They've a way to go to overtake the SNP.

The difference is the SNP are predictable- we know which way they're going to jump on most issues- whereas the Indies introduce a new factor into the equation. If there number grows they'll be in a position to bargain with the government.
