"No, I didn't call you," she said. "There was someone standing over there by the window and I thought it was you."
Erm, no.....
By which I mean it wasn't me. On the other hand I'm quite willing to accept there was somebody there. "Hallucination" is the weasel word we use to dismiss any appearance that isn't part of our four dimensional world. It implies that such appearances are lifeless, meaningless, unreal. Personally, I'm extremely sceptical about hallucinations. I wouldn't go so far as to say they never manifest but I think in most reported cases what they actually are is spirits, ghosts, angels, ETs or fairies.
