Cold, Cold, Cold

The temperature is a few degrees above freezing. Ailz and I had a debate in the middle of the night about the whiteness on the lawn. She said it was frost or snow and I said it was just moonlight. I still believe I was right but the point is she could have been. Snow has already fallen on the South Downs. There was frost on the lawn first thing this morning and the bird baths had iced over.

Bo has finished painting the outside of the house. Now he's starting on the inside of the garage. All the psychic books I put on shelves are going to have to go back into carrier bags so he can get at the wall- and I'm psyching myself up to go out into the cold to do it.
