 Peter is still working on the downstairs toilet. He may finish today but I doubt it.

Bo and a mate are painting the house on the outside. As I write I'm hearing one of them going scrape, scrape, scrape at a window frame. It would be good if they could finish before the Siberian weather front blows in at the weekend.

Funny that, we have a guy called Mike doing some plastering in our own downstairs toilet- it must be catching!

We've got a long list of things that need doing to the house. Next up, the garage- which has structural issues....

Or next biggie is getting the kitchen ripped out and rebuilt.

I'm fed up to the back teeth with IKEA- it just doesn't work in a house like this.

We've bought quite a lot of things from Ikea, but never a kitchen.

Victorian house and it really does need a Victorian look in decent materials.
