The Internet Makes Research So Easy.
May. 1st, 2018 09:22 amWhere's the bird book?
Erm....
I know where it used to be. It used to be on a shelf in the kitchen- but when I was reordering the kitchen earlier this year I moved all the books out and distributed those I was keeping at random around the house- on any available shelf- without making any note of what went where. This is called not seeing the bigger picture.
By the time I've searched the house and not found it Ailz has clicked on an internet site which has pictures and descriptions of all common British birds.
So is the unusual visitor to the feeders a yellowhammer as I thought it might be?
Looks like it.
Yellow face, bunting family, hangs about on farmland. Everything fits.
