poliphiloI just put up a curtain track. Ailz says I've never done it before but, honestly, I don't remember whether I have or not. Handyman jobs are outside my comfort zone- and I usually go wrong before I go right- but I believe I must have been in situations before where curtains needed hanging and if I didn't do it no-one else would.
The track needed trimming. We used to have a hacksaw but we probably gave it away in preparation for the move that isn't going to happen so I used a bread knife instead. It worked perfectly well. For everything else I have my little box of tools from Ikea- which was advertised as a housewife's best friend- or something similar- and cost something like £4.99.
