poliphiloWe've neglected this house- and never done more than basic repairs- because we have always thought we were simply passing through- and we grudged spending money on improvements the next owner would almost certainly rip out. We were mistaken. This May we'll have been living here five years...
It was shabby when we moved in; it's even shabbier now. No wonder our wealthy neighbour thinks it's over-priced...
I've just glanced round our main living space- which is currently covered in indeterminately patterned and all-but colourless paper- and thought I'd like to paint it pink.
Or purple...
