Warming Up

Misty first thing. I believe that means we're warming up. And actually you can feel it. The air is no longer icy. The word "balmy" came into my head as soon as I stepped outside. The outside tap is still frozen and the butts are empty- so that means a lot of trips to and fro with a bucket. The thaw hasn't set in- but it will. As I write- circa 10 o'clock- the mist is thinning and the sun breaking through.
