Handy Or What?

Yesterday I assembled a flat-pack book case.

Then Joe came to me and asked me to help him put his bed together.

Finally I fixed a set of shelves to the wall. I'm telling you people- this involved the use of an electric drill!

Oh yeah- and Joe splashed paint over one of his CDs and threw it in the bin. "Don't do that," I said, "give it me here." He retrieved it from the bin and I ran it under the tap and it came up good as new.

My labours have exhausted me. I don't suppose I'll pick that drill up again for another 12 months (at least.)

Perhaps one last effort might be to lop off the points of your Walking Woman's high heels.

She'll resent you at first, but later she'll be grateful.

It's an idea.

But with my level of skill I'm afraid I'd take off her feet and trouser bottoms as well.

Then she'd be well and truly stuck.
