Yesterday I assembled a flat-pack book case.

Then Joe came to me and asked me to help him put his bed together.

Finally I fixed a set of shelves to the wall. I'm telling you people- this involved the use of an electric drill!

Oh yeah- and Joe splashed paint over one of his CDs and threw it in the bin. "Don't do that," I said, "give it me here." He retrieved it from the bin and I ran it under the tap and it came up good as new.

Respect!

I put a shelf on the wall behind my bed a few months ago. It held up for several weeks, then as soon as I let my guard down it fell off in the middle of the night with a hellish amount of noise.

Last weekend I reaffixed it to a different wall with different screws, and I'm keeping a close eye on it.

I bought a cordless drill recently. Can't imagine how I lived for all those years without making holes in the walls.

Did you use mollies (pardon the pun) when you drill into the supporting studs, so your shelves will stay up and not pull out of the wall?

Hey, Tony, good work. But I respect you anyway...

Let's hear it for Water(TM), the wonder solvent that you can drink between meals...
