poliphilo The clouds kept away from this corner of South East England so we got to see the super-blue moon in all its splendour. It was very fine, though to be honest I don't think I'd have known it was brighter than usual if I hadn't been told. When I got up in the middle of the night I was tempted to put a coat on and go stand on the lawn and admire- and maybe even take a book with me to see if it was light enough to read- but I didn't because I was afraid I'd get so widely awake I'd never get back to sleep again.
