Fifty Years Young
Jan. 31st, 2018 09:52 amMonty Python will be fifty next year- and our grand-daughter loves it. Men in dresses, funny voices, silly walks, lots of rushing about- what's there for a five year old not to love? She watches it with her dad.
When I was five I was watching stuff that was similarly ancient- Laurel and Hardy, for instance. Though, now I think of it, Laurel and Hardy was closer to me in time than Python is to Ivy.
Strange stuff, comedy. It can go stale in a week or last forever.

Date: 2018-02-01 03:17 am (UTC)Monty Python was funny for me back when I was a teen, but that faded for me over time.
I remember watching Laurel and Hardy with my dad when I was young, and it really cracked him up.
