The bed came in boxes. I unpacked the boxes and two bits were missing. Ailz rang customer services.

"Ah," the woman said, "You've noticed that too. Most of our customers have. Fact is those bits kept dropping off the beds so the manufacturers changed the design. Only thing was they forgot to redo the assembly instructions."

It was a nasty moment. I thought I was going to have to put the old bed back together again while we waited for the missing parts to be shipped to us.
