Making Chocolate

poliphiloI did it Alice's way, not bothering with weights and measures.
Melt coconut oil, add raw cocaoa powder until you've got what you think is the right consistency. Add sweetner and flavouring. I used maple syrup, a pinch of salt and vanilla essence. And here's the bit that took me by surprise; the maple syrup acts as a thickener- immediately turning a gloopy liquid to dough.
And now the house smells wonderful...
