Dream Books
Aug. 12th, 2016 10:12 amI dreamed two novels.
The first is called Zizar- and it's a pirate romance- with a protagonist modelled after Captain Henry Morgan. The tone of the opening chapter (which is as far as I got) is heavily ironic. I remember these lines. "There's an opinion going the rounds that pirates are pleasant people. This is not the case. They have been known to carry weapons and even to use them."
The second is called,"Yes, the Rock is full of Fighting Boys". I didn't start reading it, but I believe it's about the War in the Pacific. The title comes from one of Whitman's poems- one of the ones he never got round to writing.
