Where Have All The Squirrels Gone?

We were seeing lots of squirrels in the garden and now we're not seeing any.

Two theories:

1. They were mostly babies and mum and dad have told them to clear off and seek their fortunes elsewhere.

2. The foxes have eaten them all.

Likely a combination of the two although squirrels are incredibly territorial so I suspect they have scattered to find their own domains.

I hope it's the latter, but it'd odd that none of them is laying claim to our garden with its feeders.
