My brother-in-law has a company doing tailor-made town walks- mostly round the East End, mostly featuring Late Victorian and Edwardian topics- Jack the Ripper, Titanic, Suffragettes etc.  This coming week he's doing his Charlie Chaplin walk for the first time.

Guided walking tours are very popular here, too. The Chaplin-esque get-up plus jeans and trainer-ish shoes is a hoot. (Edited to add: "here" being Philadelphia.)
