We're All Doomed

The 15th century Doom painting in Waltham Abbey's Lady Chapel is wonderfully vigorous- and one of the finest English medieval paintings I know. The details take some puzzling out- but are worth the effort.  I love the feathery angels with their trumpets- and the horn-blowing, evil baby sitting on the head of the Hell Mouth is an invention worthy of Bosch.
