See-thru Luggage

My friend Judy suggests that what we need in this climate of urban suspicion is hand luggage made of clear plastic.

I think she could be on to something.

Anyway, I float the idea. Maybe there's someone out there in a position to develop it.....

There are many schools in California, especially in the bigger cities, that require this. First they did away with lockers, then they gave the kids these flimsy little vinyl bookbags, then increased the courseloads... seems like a recipe for scoliosis and broken bookbags to me.

One of the gun safety videos I saw had a kid, wearing normal clothing, sitting at a table. They passed a metal detector over him and he went off like a car alarm. Then he pulled out 8(!) handguns from various concealed places on his person.

So. As a former ne'er-do-well: I suggest banning clothing. Or making all clothing see-through.
