Thrills Of The Chase
Mar. 24th, 2016 09:51 amAnother sign of spring is shrews in the living room. I guess Marlowe brings them in. My mother was going "OOOh" and the shrew was scuttling round the walls and occasionally dashing across the floor and Marlowe was bouncing along behind it and giving it loving swipes. Eventually we got it cornered. Marlowe was in front of it and I was behind it- and I grabbed it by the tail and picked it up and released it on the patio.

I ought to get a camera trap set up in the back yard sometime - it was, apparently, quite a throughfare for wildlife once, but then more houses came, and blocked off the route down the hill. People do seem to have a way of crapping on their habitats.
BTW, before Zootopia, one of the (many!) trailers was for "My Family and Other Animals", but sadly, still only admitting to "coming soon". Still, it'll be well worth waiting for. ^_^
