Anthony Browne was a big mate of Henry VIII's. As Master of the Horse (no comment) he was despatched to check out Anne of Cleves before her first meeting with the King. His tomb in St Mary the Virgin's, Battle is a transitional work- medieval effigies on top of a Renaissance catafalque.

Not really. The only one that really suffered because of Anne was Cromwell. Don't forget, Holbein painted the portrait Henry supposedly was enchanted by and it's pretty well accepted now that Anne was not the Great Flanders Mare that she was portrayed by Henry - he just fancied Katherine Howard and didn't want to marry Anne. She had a great many supporters and friends afterwards and lived a very good life here in England.

Anne also supported and championed a certain two young princesses- Mary and Elizabeth.

She outlived the old bugger too, although to be fair to Henry, he was guilt struck enough to treat her well. :o)

Holbein's Anne is a dreamboat.

I always thought so, very placid face, the kind of woman a man could live with I should think.
