Baby Robin

It's just a speckledy brown fluff-ball but you can tell it's a robin by the way it holds itself.

It thinks it ought to be able to cling to the hanging feeder just like the tits but it can't. It jumps up, makes a grab, then bounces off again. It'll learn.

This morning I noticed that one or two of its breast feathers had turned red.

I reckon robins are too leery to let a fox get close.
