Bank Holiday Monday- and it's traditional for everyone who owns a motorbike to head for the sea. We've been hearing them since  early morning- singly and in packs- whining down the A21 to Hastings. We did think of driving down there ourselves to watch the Jack in the Green festivities, but where would we park?

Howard and I were on our way back up the A20 from the Chunnel when we suddenly found ourselves caught up in a pack of revving, wheelieing sports bikes darting from lane to lane.

We hoped the car drivers would be able to tell we weren't with them...
