Not Looking Forward

I made three attempts to get the bonfire to catch. It's made of green wood and has been soaking up the rain for a month- so it's not surprising it didn't. You can smell the rot. A bonfire would have taken my mind off the trip to Oldham we're taking tomorrow to strip everything out of the house. I'm not looking forward to the trip; I've not been looking forward to it for days- weeks- for as long as the bonfire has been sitting there, soaking.
