Transitioning

Mentally and emotionally we made the move from Manchester to Kent many months ago. All we still have to do is transport  our remaining possessions. This morning I've been tidying up the garage to make room for them. All being well, we'll be going up to Oldham next week with Matthew and a removals van.

At least you now have Kirsty - thank goodness your self-employed carer who I am sure has the relevant updated training and skills to enable her to meet the needs of your mother while you are away.

Hope that she keeps her training up to date? Completion of relevant training for example; Manual Handling etc. An investment into your carer's own personal development and the skills and knowledge gained are of direct benefit to the well being of her client.
