Autumn Blues

We have two radiators on the blink. Darren came round and installed a new pump but it didn't make any difference. This one could run and run.

Jo is on duty and-  as always-  late.  My mother gets fractious and asks why she can't get herself up. The true answer would be "Because you're old and incompetent and we can't trust you to wash properly" so we say something evasive instead.

"We're all feeling grungey this morning," says Ailz . "Probably the change of season," I reply.

You'll be on hard water like us.

They may need bleeding or they may be furred up and need replacing.

Replacing? I hope not. We've just had a new boiler installed, we really don't want to have to put in new pipes as well.

Rads wear out too unfortunately but bleeding them down is always a good first step as it may be the only issue rather than furring up.

We had a new boiler in a couple of years back and the rads got bled at the same time which was a great improvement.
