The Guardian has a  web cam set up outside the courthouse in Pretoria. You can watch in actual time as people drive down the road and other people cross it.

The best bit was when the car in the foreground pulled out of its parking place.

While that was certainly an exciting moment, I felt yesterday's weather performed remarkably well in creating a comfortable ambience that belied the drama going on within the courthouse. But it certainly required the viewer to really commit.

I wonder if people are are thinking as much about the little girl who was shot yesterday. Presumably by her now dead father. The world will not know about that.
