I've a vague recollection that you're meant to adjust the tyre pressures when the car is heavily loaded, but could not say whether up or down, so that's probably not particularly helpful...

I've no idea about tire pressure. Anyway, we made the trip and arrived safely.

I read the comments so I know the mission was a success. Is this your last load, or do you have to make another trip or two?

I imagine that if Sam is able to buy the place she could also help you out with short term storage if it comes to that.

There's still a lot of stuff in the house- and we're weighing up our options. One might be to get an auction house to clear it all out and sell it.

We need to return at least once more. There's a dressing table that belongs to my daughter we need to retrieve and quite a lot of pictures (some of them valuable) and books....
