poliphiloBig kerfuffle just now: A bunch of crows mobbing a heron. Do crows have anything to fear from a heron? I wouldn't have thought so.
The raspberries are ripe. I started picking them yesterday. We have currants coming on- red and black (I picked a few). Also gooseberries.
One of the paths into the kitchen garden had become impassable. I cleared it this morning- and took two barrow loads of clippings to the compost heap.
