My butterfly and wildflower books have arrived. They're pocket sized so into a pocket they went.  I didn't see any butterflies this afternoon but I checked on the wildflowers. The purple clumpy stuff is bugle, the white stuff that likes boggy ground is cuckoo flower or ladies smock. A little pinky thing I could only find one example of is herb robert.

The SKY engineer could find no fault with the box but has replaced the dish. He confided- ha!- that he uses a freeview box himself.

Finding wild garlic would be rather fun - had some wild garlic leaves with Tunworth cheese (Brie-like) melted onto a portabello mushroom one time. Quite a delicate delight. ^_^

I nudged the roomie into dropping Sky as part of moving from Sky's DSL service to BT Infinity - so the receiver now functions as a Freesat box. Works out well, given there's plenty available for no extra cost (shan't say "free", given it all derives from advertising or the license fee), and BT's been quite a decent ISP, even if the customer service side is as poor as you'd expect with a huge company that's outsourced it all. That said, I mostly just use iPlayer, either live, or downloading with get_iplayer.

I don't believe we've any wild garlic on the premises. Wild garlic reeks. It's not a shy and retiring plant.

My mother has Sky because it gives her access to the racing channels. That's the only reason.
