I sat out on the patio most of yesterday afternoon. It was sunny, but by the time I came back in my finger tips were all wrinkly with cold.

The trees are in leaf. the fields are full of rabbits. "Don't run away," I project at them but they're not picking me up.

We had a full moon last night .At least I think we did, but I can't be sure because I didn't have my glasses on and couldn't see if the circle was perfect or slightly clipped. The house cast a hard-edged shadow over the lawn and the light was so strong I could see the lines in my hand.

The Telegraph Cryptic featured this clue yesterday: " Sunny reflection in a dark hour." Answer: "Moonbeam".

I woke early this morning and listened to the birds singing. Ailz says she heard a cuckoo yesterday morning and I want to hear one too. I haven't heard one in ages.

The full moon is - technically - tonight. You guys aren't that far ahead of us that you'd get a moon one night sooner. We're unlike to see a moon any time soon, with the rain/sleet/snow in our forecast.

I think we'll see the moon tonight. It's been a clear, sunny day.

I'm not sure whether I heard a cuckoo yesterday or a rudely interrupted wood pigeon... But we have swallows!

I must look out for them. I'm not sure whether to expect them round here or not...

It's blossoming time for bunnies. ^_^ One spot on my rabbiteering circuit has, until recently, been home (visibly, at least) to maybe a couple buns, who've usually fled at the first sight of me. In the past week or so, I've been able to see up to a dozen or so, quite fine with me being around, as long as I don't move alarmingly. (Whence came Making Contact, for one)

It won't make any difference to their shyness, but you might consider, once in a while, scattering a bag of raisins in the field - they're a prized treat for rabbitkind. ^_^

That's a great picture. What's going on: is it courtship, war or just just howdy-doody time?

I'll take some raisins with me next time I stroll round the fields. We have numerous warrens.
