The problem with the papers is not that they show bias (left, right, covered in shite) but that they take the world at its own valuation.

What do you mean by 'its own valuation'? Who valued it? Is this a this a value from the country's establishment? The ruling elite?

I agree , i do find them biased one way or the other and usually the proprietors have two papers in their roster with opposite views. I only buy the i ,the little brother of the Independent , on Friday for arts and books section plus it is only 30 pence.

My mother takes the Telegraph so I see that.

I also look at the Guardian and the Mail online.
