Here’s one of those odd things. It was around midnight and I was thinking about my daughter. I drifted off to sleep and the phone rang. It was Alice , of course, and it was a mistake. She’d been meaning to call someone else and her finger hit the wrong button.
OK it doesn’t prove anything. It’s just another coincidence. But, my, aren’t there a lot of them?

Date: 2005-03-28 08:29 am (UTC)Happened about two weeks ago, as a matter of fact, with someone I hadn't seen in about eight years. For one reason or another she just appeared in my thoughts, and that very day I looked up from my desk and she was walking down the hall here in the L.S.
I argued with my psychology teacher about ESP and precognition, he insisted that there is no such thing, it's all coincidence. I, being 20 years older than he even though I was a student (and got a B in the course) wisely shut my mouth. But I really don't believe in coincidences.

Date: 2005-04-10 04:21 am (UTC)Actually, I think we're all psychic and these sort of "coincidences" happen all the time- and mostly we ignore them.
Guess what! Joe is coming to see us this week!
