Suddenly it's summer. Well, no, not really, but if you shut your eyes to the bare branches you might well believe it. I started off yesterday in a tee shirt with a padded shirt over the top (my usual winter wear) and mid-morning the padded shirt came off.

There was an outbreak of shorts, strapless tops, and flipflops in Henley yesterday. Wonderful!

I don't know what the temperature climbed to but it felt really warm.

Spring has made a very sudden entrance here as well. I can't call it summer as we need another 15ºC to do that.
(It was 22ºC yesterday).

At Gravesend- just up the road from here, they recorded a temperature of 20.5.
