We spent £65 on our weeks shopping. "Oh dear, what a lot," says my mother- and Ailz points out that it's £20 to £30 less than usual. She adds that the saving is entirely due to me going vegetarian. "Really?" I ask. "One person out of three giving up meat makes that big a difference?" "Yes," she says.
