poliphiloThe wind's getting up. We just heard on the radio that they've closed the Dartford road bridge.
The queues for the check-out in Sainsbury's in Tonbridge reached half-way down the store. The staff were handing out free mince pies.
Half an hour ago I counted 19 pigeons on the front lawn- all pecking away at something or other. It was like a corner of Trafalgar Square.
