Nigelissima it's called- and it's weird to be watching it just minutes after the latest report from the courtroom where Charles and Nigella's enviable lifestyle is being trashed. Nigella flirts and flounces over the food, smiling and being perfect and it's hard not to feel like a voyeur. "I like a little violence in the kitchen," she says as she prepares to break up a slab of hard toffee- and the line now carries connotations she can hardly have intended when she uttered it in the studio all those months ago. She sprinkles a chocolate log with icing sugar and witticisms about white powder are heard across the land.

It couldn't have happened to a nicer person!

Something that won't come out in the court case it the fact that darling Nigella is a strident transphobe.

I didn't know that. Mind you, I can't say I've paid her much mind until now.

I can't stand the woman. Its nothing to do with the usual alleged reasons - her beauty, success, money, blah blah blah...- its everything to do with her comment a year ago that she liked Gordon Ramsay as she thought "thuggishness in a man was attractive to women." I'd love to see the stupid woman say that at a women's shelter. Thuggishness is attractive until it blackens your eye, eh Nigella?

I suppose that must be what attracted her to Charles Saatchi.

Thugs and attractive women seem to be a byword for dysfunctional people like her and Saatchi hooking up in the first place. I must admit i cannot stand her and, as my foodie friend says, must of those TV programmes she does it is rarely her hands doing it all. She had minions!

Well, we've been learning about the minions...

I was intrigued with her culinary showmanship at first, but in light of recent events, have mentally tossed her on the pile of confused British fuckups. And I mean that in the most nonjudgmental way possible. Oops, sorry . . . nonjudgEmental way possible.

The case has been an education in the lifestyles of the rich and famous. I don't believe anyone comes out of it particularly well.
