Here's a fascinating (and seriously scientific) quiz from the BBC.
http://www.bbc.co.uk/brainsex
It measures the sexual identity of the brain.

I come out, not entirely to my surprise, as 100% female- which is to say a good deal girlier than the average girl.

So incidentally does [livejournal.com profile] craftyailz

It takes about three quarters of an hour to complete.

100% female, although I scored well on the logic/spatial relations type ones.

Having done a fair bit of gender studies, I always find the science (and mostly pseudo-science) that surrounds 'men vs women' stuff a bit iffy ... but I haven't exactly looked into it in great detail. It said the result is based only on the mind tests, so I'm assuming the rest is for their research - which is good, because the rest (all the little questions) struck me as addressing learned behaviours, so I assume that's part of what they're researching.

I found the faces one the most interesting. I am only attracted to guys, but apparantly I find feminine faces the most attractive.

* but apparantly I find feminine faces the most attractive.

e.g. my icon, which is a male's face, but apparantly people can't tell that.

I'd assumed it was a woman. Probably because of the hair. Now I study it more closely I see it's androgynous.

I <3 androgyny.

And I'm attracted to "masculine" women. That took me back a bit.
