Walking Barefoot

poliphiloIt was so hot yesterday I took my shoes and socks off and walked barefoot on the village green. I looked to see if anyone else was doing this- and they weren't. Not even the youngsters.
Not that there were many youngsters.
I was talking to Mike about the fete. I used "wealthy" and "middle-class" as perjorative terms and he said, "But those are good things...."
