(Warning: Contains a Spoiler)

Someone is shooting CEOs. Thus far he/she has managed four in as many days. Instead of bouncing up and down on the sofa (as the viewer is doing) the Swedish police have put together a team of misfits to bring the reign of terror to an end.

(Spoilsports!)

The six have their work cut out. The CEOs were such nasty pieces of work that the range of suspects is almost limitless. At present the likeliest perp is a Russian gangster called Mikoyan who has just crucified one of the six for looking at him funny.

There are two reasons why we love Scandi-noir. Firstly it's so bloody good. Secondly it fingers society's untouchables- the bankers, politicians, CEOs- and dices them up for us. It's very political (though not party political.) It gives us a foretaste of the revolution we crave.

I wonder if the elites are watching. If so do they take it personally? Are they feeling the hate?

The Blinded Man is more plausible than The Bridge but none of the characters is as adorable as Saga.

How odd.

They probably think, "But I'm not the least like that." Do the bad guys ever think of themselves as the bad guys? I don't think so. Street punks may rejoice in their own wickedness but I don't think CEOs do.
