oh! It so needs "doing up"! But it is seedily beautiful as it is, and I expect it was the wonderful mix of colours that caught your eye. It would be a lovely watercolour.

There's something about boats. I'm not any kind of a sailor, but I find myself drawn to them- especially old ones. Yes, the colours have something to do with it.

A portrait of a place down on its luck?
The rusty boats speak volumes.

The Wharf is right next to the ultra new and shiny Hepworth gallery. I guess someone owns those boats- probably uses them too. They're shabby, but they're not exactly wrecks.

No, I didn't mean to imply they were wrecks as they look quite clean but lacking good paint jobs.

They look a bit careworn, that's all.

I think I prefer them this way. :)

Nice. I prefer these to the Hepworth building.

The Hepworth is a safe grey building designed to hold safe grey art.

Oh so many beautiful colors, shapes, and textures :)

Someone really out to go around the country recording old signage and advertising on warehouses and shops before it gets painted over and/or erased as a result of demolition.

Nice to see that old warehouse (I nearly said warhorse!) chugging along as old warehouses do!

And oh boy, that photo would make a GREAT jigsaw!!
