I haven't been there for years - it's so beautiful, and i used to love watching the boats - we once saw a sailing ship with a cargo of gravel, or something of that sort - amazing that such cargoes are still carried under sail!

I walked to Wells from Walsingham- along the old railway line- sometime in the early to mid 70s.
