poliphiloI did consider watching the Thames regatta but then the tennis claimed my attention. I caught a glimpse of the very end. There was a misty view of Tower Bridge through a lens spotted with raindrops, the ships were hooting and wailing and the Queen was hurrying ashore under cover off a see-though umbrella.
